Taller Than Trees is an upcoming alternative pop/rock band originated at Berklee College of Music, located in Boston. Their music is characteristic for its catchy melodies, soulful guitar lines, uplifting energy, groovy rhythms, and their introspective/socially-reflective lyrics.
Composed of four Latinos, Taller Than Trees brings a diverse and refreshing twist to pop music, with a nostalgic combination of musical influences from different genres. The band consists of Mike Soto from México as the lead singer/keyboardist, Máximo Abraham from Argentina as the lead guitarist, Hugo Avendaño from Chile as the drummer, and Alan Milstein from México as the bassist. Being all close friends, they share an intimate and fun dynamic on stage. In their own words: "Our music, words, and actions will be known for projecting to our audiences a message of love and unity, that is uplifting, joyful, inspiring, culturally diverse, socially and politically active, passionate, and intimate."
Some of their most prominent musical influences are Coldplay, Maroon 5, The Beatles, Camila, Reik, Queen, Muse, Vulfpeck, and Twenty One Pilots.
